Since 1978, Garco Construction, Inc. (Garco) has been providing general contracting services for over 2,000 projects throughout Washington and across the country. Garco has repeatedly made Engineering News Record’s Top 400 Contractors list for the United States. (This means that Garco’s construction revenue is among the top 400 in the entire country.) Garco self-performs a lot of work through its strong union workforce made up of five unions: ironworkers, cement masons, carpenters, operators and laborers. The company also works closely with a network of more than 300 suppliers and subcontractors.
Garco has been involved in many iconic projects in the Inland Northwest, including the Spokane Arena, Pavilion in the Park, University District Gateway Bridge, and Ridgeline High School. Garco has also worked with most Spokane area school districts and constructed more than 60 educational facilities.
The foundation of Garco's unique culture is built on quality, safety, efficiency, honesty, innovation, accountability, and respect. Garco is driven to exceed client expectations, foster a great place to work, and be a leader in the community. The company takes pride in the fact that a number of its employees have been with the company for 10, 15, 20 or more years.
