PROJECT FIELD SUPERVISOR - MICRO SURFACING

Responsible for operations of micro-surfacing projects to ensure completion in a timely manner, with quality results, and within budget. Organize project areas and activities and sub contracting activities keeping other team leaders and IDOT resident engineer fully apprised.
Essential Duties: Oversee projects: Fully understand projects and coordinate with Project Manager on resources required. Manage those resources effectively and efficiently. Track project and guide compliance to meet contract and estimated budgets. Manage project schedules.
Approve and submit payroll records. Provide daily project reports and updates, including disclosure of adjustments and progress, on a regular basis to other team members. Determines labor needs and 
oversees labor on-site. Makes weather/work calls daily.
Communicate effectively with personnel, suppliers, IDOT, and subcontractors. Manage activity on location and stockpile sites . Measure performance to identify areas for improvement.
Other Duties & Responsibilities Assure training of staff pre-season and in safety supports throughout season. (PPE, on-job safety tips, training, etc.)
Assist Project manager in preparation of reports for Division Manager to convey performance regularly. Assist coordination of repair services with Asphalt Services Shop or Manufacturer’s warranty.
