Description: The Department of Water Resources is currently accepting applications for the Associate Cost Estimator, Water Resources state examination. The position description is as follows: As an Associate Cost Estimator, Water Resources, under direction of the Senior Cost Estimator, Water Resources, this position prepares detailed contract cost estimates for construction contracts for major water resources development facilities; prepares construction planning studies and cost estimates as a basis for determining engineering feasibility and economy, and provides construction planning and scheduling, while assisting in the role of the resolution of construction contractor claims. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications as described in the examination bulletin, must apply by the February 10, 2020 final filing date.
