Job Summary: The General Manager has full responsibility for the performance and profitability of the 60 + employee operation including P&L. Leading and managing Project Managers, Designers, and Shop Operations. The GM is also responsible for establishing work assignments, coordinating and managing projects from design, quotation and material aquisition through installation as well as employee recruitment, selection and training. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who is "in tune" and experienced with a fast paced, time sensitive, detailed and demanding environment.
A creative leader who is obsessed with managing the details and adept at handling multiple projects at once. takes initiative, thinks "outside the box" and isable to develop and implement effective solutions to problems.
Ideal Candidate: 5-10 years experience in leading and managing project managers, designers in a manufacturing environment. 5 + years in a leadership role.
Education: MBA. Degree in Construction Management preferred.
