Manage construction implementation process from start to final closeout.
Strong knowledge of contracts, schedules, drawings, estimates and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirements.
Obtain, maintain, and manage data, information, communications, and approvals required by the project and company between engineers, owner’s contractors/subcontractors, or other project related entities.
Coordinate, direct and monitor the activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, and related performing entities.
Manage project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures.
Lead in project meetings to include documentation, administration and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
Provide overall administrative and technical direction for water and wastewater projects.
Manage construction to ensure the project is in accordance with the design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, etc.
Plan, coordinate and/or supervise field activities of field personnel on assigned project(s).
Maintain official project log and documentation files.
Provide direction on planning, CPM scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
Responsible for obtaining signatures for contracts, processing pay estimates and change orders, coordinating inspections and pre-construction meetings.
Prepare bid tabulations and maintain files for bond issues.
Attend various bid openings and district meetings.
10+ years in management of construction in water and wastewater practices.
Must possess knowledge of construction estimating, cost, project controls, CPM scheduling, documentation, engineering and construction principles, techniques, materials applications and practices.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft products, and experience with project related systems such as Procore, Microsoft Project. Deltek Vision experience is a plus.
The ability to apply experience in areas of accounting, cost control, administrative and personnel interaction in a professional environment.
Successful candidates will apply good organizational skills and take charge of overall coordination of preparing and reviewing contracts.
