The City of Sacramento, Department of Public Works is recruiting for the position of Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager is responsible for facility maintenance and repair, facility design and construction project management and real estate, property and asset management services. Duties are primarily administrative/managerial in nature, and the incumbent performs work involving significant authority over various day-to-day operations within the Facilities and Real Property Management Division.
Limited direction is provided by the Director of Public Works. Responsibilities include the direct and indirect supervision of Superintendents, and lower-level management, supervisory, professional, technical, and clerical personnel.
