The Contract Manager negotiates, analyzes, prepares and revises contracts for the company and ensures that every contract signed benefits the company. Oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. Over sees that price increases are done timely and thoroughly.
Provides responses to bids, proposals and contract negotiations.
Prepares requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
Update and maintains a set of standard conditions for contracts.
Analyzes all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Ensures that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate guidelines, as well as, federal, state and local laws, regulations and codes.
Conducts research prior to writing contracts.
Over sees contracts from conception to completion, with appropriate oversight and modifications during the life of the contract, as well as auditing and updating and maintain existing contracts.
Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Analyze and make recommendations to minimize company risk and exposure.
Ensures that business goals are accomplished by contract implementation, and are in line with corporate goals and objectives.
Trains, supervises and manage other contract professionals and team members.
Maintains in accordance to company policies and procedures a computer database for the company’s contract management system.
Conducts analysis of new laws, regulations and contract trends to determine potential impact on the business.
Coordinates with the finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
Prepares reports on the status of contracts for management.
Negotiates and oversees leasing agreements.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.Bachelor’s degree in business law and/or business administrative is preferred plus 5 years of contract management is required.CR-65 Glazing license and B General Residential Contractor license would need to be able to obtain within a 6 month period.
